Fast
This project aims to provide a new and innovative programming method using visualization to build next-generation composite user interfaces. This new visual programming environment will facilitate the development of complex front-end gadgets, which are based on the execution of intricate business processes that rely on back-end semantic web services. FAST will provide current and future mashup platforms with more powerful gadgets, so that they can allow people to agilely interact with administration, thus considerably simplifying their daily lives.

Target
TARGET researches, analyzes and develops a new type of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) environment that supports rapid competence development of individuals, namely knowledge workers. TARGET will develop a responsive environment that dynamically supports the ever changing business needs of an organization and the evolving personal goals of knowledge workers. It incorporates five significant developments into the TARGET integrative Framework:
- Threshold concepts
- Knowledge ecology
- Cognitive load theory
- Learning communities
- Experience Management with serious games

Puzzled by Policy: Helping You Be Part of the EU
Puzzled by Policy (PbP) aims to provide all citizens- regardless of their literacy skills or subject matter knowledge- with a unique portal to learn about policy at the EU level and find out what particular policies mean to them on the national level, so they can contribute to policy drafting and impact assessments. PbP will help also decision makers at both the national and European level better understand the impact of their policies on through citizen feedback.
Migration and immigration policy is the main topic of PbP as immigration is a topical issue across most EU countries and, as such, a top priority on the political agendas of the EU Member States.
The key innovative features of the PbP platform are as follows:
- Combining existing, cutting-edge applications to facilitate straight-forward and engaging policy presentation
- Language localization through widget deployment allows users from across Europe to contribute to the same debate
- Credibility generated across Europe through the support of positive media coverage by our news agency - dissemination of project and pilots
- Viral marketing through the widget platform pushes the platform out to the masses - turns the democratic divide on its head
- Collection of analytic information from the platforms builds up a more detailed picture of citizen use the than ever before
- Graphical representation of collated feedback allows citizens and decision makers to easily understand European views
